This ghost tour of Boston is designed to explore the dark past of the capital of Massachusetts, featuring various historical stories.
Description
We will meet at the designated time in front of the Robert Gould Shaw and the 54th Massachusetts Regiment Monument to begin the tour. The journey will start at Boston Common, approaching the Gallows Tree, known as the "hanging tree," where early executions occurred. We will proceed to the Massachusetts State House to view the statue of Mary Dyer and discuss the White Witch.
The tour will continue to the Boston Athenaeum to learn about the reverend ghost that is said to roam there. Next, we will visit one of the most haunted hotels in the United States and proceed to the King's Chapel Burying Ground, the city’s oldest cemetery.
Before concluding, we will stop at the Old State House to recount the events of the Boston Massacre. Our final destination will be the Granary Burial Ground, where we will reflect on the three signers of the Declaration of Independence buried there. The tour will last for an hour and a half, ending with farewells.
