Do you want to find out about the origins of America? Travel four centuries back in time on this Plymouth Plantation Tour.
Description
We'll pick you up from your selected meeting point in Boston at the scheduled time and head to Plymouth. After a 40-minute bus ride, we'll arrive at the Plymouth Plantation.
First, we'll explore the beach and the Brant Rock community. As we walk the streets, we'll experience life in a 1627 New England farming and maritime community established by pilgrims. We'll tour their houses and observe actors reenacting 17th-century life, showing activities like buying bread, tilling land, and chopping wood. Feel free to ask locals any questions.
Afterward, you'll have free time to get something to eat on the waterfront before our visit to Plymouth Rock, where we will learn about its history and pay tribute to the first settlers at their memorial.
Before concluding the tour, we'll visit the Pilgrims' Museum, featuring original period artifacts and furnishings, and see the replica of the Mayflower II ship. We will also pass by the oldest street in the country.
After 8 or 9 hours, we'll return to Boston following a day dedicated to American history.
