Do you want to find out about the origins of America? Travel four centuries back in time on this Plymouth Plantation Tour.
Description
We'll pick you up from your selected meeting point in Boston at the scheduled time, and head to Plymouth. After a 40-minute bus ride, we'll arrive at the Plymouth Plantation.
We'll admire the beach and the Brant Rock community. By walking its streets, we'll be transported back to 1627 New England and experience life in a small farming and maritime community built by pilgrims. You'll see houses and watch actors perform a recreation of 17th-century life, including activities like buying bread, tilling the land, and chopping wood. Feel free to ask questions to the locals.
Afterward, you'll have free time to get something to eat on the waterfront before we visit Plymouth Rock to learn about its history and pay tribute at the settlers' memorial.
Before concluding the tour, you'll visit the Pilgrims' Museum with original artifacts and furnishings and see a replica of the Mayflower II ship. We will also pass by the oldest street in the country.
After 8 or 9 hours, we'll return to Boston after a full day of learning about American history.
