Chaves Region 4x4 Tour

Having picked you up at your hotel in Boticas at your chosen time, we'll travel by 4x4 vehicle or minibus to the city of Chaves, approximately a 30-minute journey.

Our first visit will be to the medieval castle of Chaves, which has a long history of mysteries and legends. We'll also learn about the history of the São Francisco and São Neutel forts, notable constructions in the old town. Before leaving, we'll make a brief stop at the Roman bridge, built over the Tâmega River by order of Emperor Trajan.

Next, we'll continue onto Nacional 2, Portugal’s longest road, and its famous point Kilometre Zero. Before concluding the tour, we'll make one last stop at the thermal baths, where we’ll discuss the significance of this public work and its role as a social center.

Finally, after three hours of travel, we'll return to your hotel in Boticas.
