With this 4x4 tour from Boticas, you'll visit the monumental center of Chaves and explore the surrounding region.

Chaves Region 4x4 Tour

After picking you up at your hotel in Boticas at your chosen time, we will travel by 4x4 vehicle or minibus to the city of Chaves, approximately a 30-minute journey.

Our first visit will be to the medieval castle of Chaves, which has a rich history of mysteries and legends. We will also learn about the São Francisco and São Neutel forts, notable constructions in the old town. Before leaving Chaves, we will stop briefly at the Roman bridge over the Tâmega River, built under Emperor Trajan's orders.

Next, we will continue onto Portugal’s longest road, Nacional 2, and its notable point, Kilometre Zero. Before concluding the tour, we'll make one last stop at the thermal baths, where we will explain the construction of this important public work and its role as a social center at the time.

After three hours of travel, we will return to your hotel in Boticas.
