When booking, you can choose between 2 options. Both include pickup at your hotel in Boticas at 9 am, an English-speaking guide, and return transfer:

Tour of Chaves, Boticas, & Montalegre

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Boticas and head towards the Tras-os-Montes area, visiting Alto Tamega. The first stop will be Montalegre, known for its 13th-century castle and the Ecomuseu de Barroso - Espaço Padre Fontes, which presents the village's history and environmental heritage.

After exploring the museum, we'll return to Boticas to visit the Rural Museum. You will have an hour of free time for lunch. After lunch, we will proceed to Chaves to visit its medieval castle and explore its Roman heritage, including thermal baths and a stone bridge.

Finally, we will return to your hotel in Boticas, dropping you off at 5 pm.

Tour of Chaves, Valpaços, & Vila Pouca de Aguiar

This option allows you to explore Chaves as in the previous tour, along with other emblematic places of Trás-os-Montes. We will visit Vila Pouca de Aguiar, including the Parque de Pedras Salgadas, a wooded area with uniquely shaped stones. We will also visit Valpaços to see the Wine Museum and learn about the local winemaking tradition. You will decide which areas to visit!
