With this ticket to the Royal Monastery of Brou, you'll get the chance to visit one of the most spectacular monastic complexes in France, built in the 16th century by Margarita of Austria, the Duchess of Savoy. The complex features several monastic buildings around three cloisters and a unique church with an ornate Gothic façade. Inside, you'll find information panels in different languages to help you appreciate the complex's history.
Opening Hours
The Royal Monastery of Brou opens every day (except January 1, May 1, and December 25) at the following times:
October 1st to March 31st: 9 am to 5 pmApril 1st to September 30th: 9 am to 6 pm
Special Christmas Opening Hours
December 24th and 31st: from 9 am to 4 pm
Final admission will be 30 minutes before closing time, and departure is 15 minutes before closing time.
Free Admission
Admission to the Royal Monastery of Brou is free for the following individuals:
Young people from the European Union between 18 and 25 years old.Children under 18 years old, regardless of nationality.
To obtain free admission, present a valid ID at the ticket office. Admission is also free for everyone on the first Sunday of the month between January 1 and March 31, and November 1 and December 31, and during the third weekend of September.
