Routes and stops

This sightseeing bus includes 10 stops and lasts for a total of 2 hours. On the double-decker bus, you will see key landmarks with pre-recorded commentary in English provided throughout the journey. Major stops include Al Alam Palace, the Parliament of Oman, Qurum National Park, and the Corniche.

How does it work?

The ticket is valid for 1 or 2 consecutive days from first use, allowing unlimited hop-on and hop-off access during this period. Although you will select a start date when booking, you can use the service within twelve months of that date. A voucher will be sent to you upon reservation, which must be presented on your first bus ride.

Timetable and frequency

Red line: operates from 9 am to 6:40 pm, every 30 minutes. The last bus departs from stop 1 at 5 pm. The complete route takes two hours.

Itinerary changes

The Muscat Hop-On Hop-Off Bus Tour operates when cruise ships are docked. If not, a 1 hour 45 minute non-stop panoramic tour of the city will be offered as an alternative, departing at 10 am and 2 pm from stop number 1.
