At your preferred time, we will pick you up at your hotel in Muscat and begin exploring the capital of Oman. The first stop will be the Great Mosque of Sultan Qaboos, a notable example of Islamic architecture where we will discuss its construction, five minarets, and decoration with Persian tiles.
The tour will then continue to the Royal Opera House, built to Islamic standards, and to Muttrah Souq, a large souk along the Gulf of Oman known for traditional carpets and souvenirs.
Next, we will visit Fort Muttrah, built by the Portuguese in 1580, and walk to Al Alam Palace, the official residence of Sultan Qaboos, recognized for its architecture and surroundings.
The tour concludes with a return to your hotels in Muscat after approximately 5 hours of experiences in the capital of Oman.
