Description

We'll meet at the indicated time under the Arco da Porta Nova, from this point in Braga, we'll make our way south.

After a journey of approximately 30 minutes, we'll reach Guimarães. Firstly, we'll see the Castle of Guimarães, a 10th-century fort considered one of the Seven Wonders of Portugal. Here, we'll be able to climb the building and admire panoramic views of the city while we share the story of the country’s foundation.

The next stop will be at the Paço dos Duques de Bragança, a 15th-century palace reflecting the grandeur of the Portuguese nobility. Its interior includes tapestries, period furniture, and medieval weapons.

Our visit will continue through the historic centre of Guimarães, where we'll stroll through narrow streets, passing by traditional façades, artisan shops, squares, and cafés. You will have free time for lunch at one of the restaurants in the city centre.

After lunch, we'll meet up again to head to a local winery, where we'll take a guided tour and enjoy a tasting of Vinho Verde.

At the end of the tasting, we'll return to Braga, arriving 6 hours after pickup.
