Discover the breathtaking natural beauty of the Rivière des Roches with our river trekking experience. This activity offers an opportunity to traverse a stunning region of Réunion, featuring impressive caves, cascading waterfalls, and exhilarating whitewater rapids.

River Trekking at Rivière des Roches

Our journey begins at 8 am at the Bassin La Paix parking area, located close to the Rivière des Roches. From this point, our exploration of one of Réunion's most stunning rapids will commence.

Initially, we will make our way to the riverbank where our knowledgeable instructor will greet us. They will outline essential safety guidelines to ensure a secure experience and provide the necessary equipment.

Over the next three hours, we will navigate down the river, offering you a unique view of the island's extraordinary landscape.

The trek will lead us through the enchanting caves and waterfalls of the Rivière des Roches. For those up for an adventure, an exciting opportunity awaits at the end of our journey to leap off rocks ranging from 10 to 36 feet (3 to 11 meters) into the refreshing waters.

Upon concluding our descent, we will pause in a serene location to enjoy a delightful aperitif, featuring a selection of local drinks and traditional delicacies. A true treat!

We will wrap up our river trekking expedition by returning to our original meeting point at noon.
