Immerse yourself in an enchanting natural environment on our Rivière des Roches River trekking activity. You'll explore a beautiful part of Reunión and see caves, waterfalls and whitewater rapids.

Rivière des Roches River Trekking

At 8 am, we'll meet at the Bassin La Paix car park, near Rivière des Roches. From there, we will start our adventure through one of the most spectacular rapids on Reunión. First, we will head to the river bank where our instructor will be waiting. The instructor will explain basic guidelines for safe participation and provide us with the necessary equipment.

We will spend 3 hours descending along the river. As we walk, you'll gain a unique perspective of the island's remarkable nature. Our route will take us through Rivière des Roches' caves and waterfalls. If you wish, you can jump from rocks ranging from 10 to 36 feet (3 to 11 metres) during the final part of the activity.

After completing our descent, we will stop in a quiet spot to enjoy an aperitif consisting of a drink and various traditional local products.

Our river trekking activity will conclude upon returning to the starting point at 12 noon.
