Description
When making your reservation, you'll have two options. Both routes start and finish at Hviezdoslavovo Námestie, in front of the historic Slovak National Theatre building (Slovenské národné divadlo). The options are as follows:
Castle route (60 minutes)
Departing from Bratislava city center, you'll explore the main tourist sights on board the Presporacik tourist train. You'll pass by St. Martin's Cathedral and Kammene nameste, also known as 'Stone Square', in the heart of the historic center. The vehicle will take you to Bratislava Castle, where the train will stop for 20 minutes, allowing you to explore the fortress and enjoy panoramic views. An audioguide will provide details about this medieval fortress on the banks of the Danube River. On the return, you'll pass SNP Most and drive alongside the Danube.
Panoramic route (95 minutes)
Beginning in the heart of the capital, you'll first visit Slavin, a monument to World War II victims, with a 15-minute stop. Next, you'll continue to Bratislava Castle for a 20-minute stop to admire its walls and views. On the way back, you'll see landmarks such as the Slovak National Theatre, the Blue Church (Church of St. Elizabeth), and the Grassalkovich Presidential Palace.
