On this day trip to Cicmany from Bratislava, we'll venture into northwestern Slovakia to see some of the most peculiar dwellings. You'll also relax in the spa in Rajecké Teplice.

Cicmany + Rajecké Teplice Spa Day Trip

The tour starts at Bratislava Central Station. The high-speed train departs at 8:27 am for Zilina, arriving at 10:30 am. After that, we will head to our first stop: Rajecká Lesná.

Upon arrival, we will admire the wooden Nativity Scene of Rajecká Lesná, one of the largest wooden sculptures in Slovakia, featuring more than 250 figures. We will discuss the traditions and history of the region.

Next, we will proceed to Cicmany, known for its unique decorated wooden houses. During our walk, observe various facades adorned with white patterns characteristic of the Cicmany pattern.

You will then have an hour of free time for a delicious lunch. Afterward, we proceed to Rajecké Teplice for two hours in the spa, offering a relaxing moment.

Finally, we return to Zilina for a brief guided tour of the historic center before taking the train back to Bratislava at 5:31 pm, arriving at 7:33 pm.
