Description
At the indicated time, you'll catch a train from Bratislava train station for a 30-minute ride to Trnava. Upon arrival, the guide will meet you at the train station.
On this day trip to Trnava, we will learn about the town's history, visiting churches, streets, and cafes. You'll discover Trnava, one of the first cities in the Hungarian Kingdom, and admire the temples that were the headquarters for bishops and archbishops of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
During the 2-hour guided visit, we'll explore various architectural styles, including the Saint Nicholas Gothic Cathedral and the Saint John the Baptist Baroque Church, and discuss the characteristics that earned Trnava the nickname Little Rome.
After the walking tour, you'll have 2 hours of free time to explore Trnava independently and enjoy local cafes.
At the agreed time, you will take the train back to Bratislava, with an overall tour duration of 4.5 hours.
