Zilina + Mala Fatra National Park Day Trip

On this day trip to Zilina and Mala Fatra National Park, we'll explore the capital of northwestern Slovakia and the Western Carpathian mountain range.

At the scheduled time, you'll be picked up from your hotel in Bratislava and driven to the Central Station for your high-speed train to Zilina.

Upon arrival at Zilina station, we'll proceed to the Vrátna Valley in the heart of Mala Fatra National Park, where you'll enjoy northern Slovakia's landscapes while learning about the region.

We will board a cable car to reach Snilovske Peak at 1524 meters, where we will take a walk and admire the views of Mala Fatra National Park's peaks.

After descending to the valley, we will head to Terchova, known for its folk traditions and music, and part of the UNESCO World Heritage list since 2013. Here, we'll visit the church of Saints Cyril and Methodius.

A lunch break will follow at a local restaurant, featuring a starter and a main course.

Next, we will return to Zilina for a guided tour of the historic center, including the Holy Trinity Cathedral, Budatín Castle, Mariánske Square, and Rosenfeld Palace.

Finally, we'll return to the Zilina train station for your train back to Bratislava. After thirteen and a half hours of sightseeing, the tour will conclude with a drop-off at your hotel.
