Have you ever wanted to see the stars? On our La Palma Stargazing Experience, you'll admire a starry night from a unique perspective and learn lots of fun facts about our night sky.

La Palma Stargazing Experience

At the scheduled time, we'll meet at Travesía Los Cancajos, in the municipality of Breña Baja. After introductions, you'll follow the guide to our stargazing viewpoint.

The viewpoint will depend on the weather conditions and is typically located on the island's peaks. Upon arrival, we'll get out of our vehicles to admire the night sky.

La Palma is one of the best places globally for stargazing, with its altitude and low light pollution making it ideal for astronomy enthusiasts. We'll observe star clusters, nebulae, planets, and, hopefully, the spiral arm of the Milky Way.

Using a telescope, we'll identify celestial bodies that are light-years away, along with some well-known constellations, including guidance on locating the North Star.

After three and a half hours, we'll conclude our activity and return to the starting point.

Transport not included

Please note that the meeting point is separate from the stargazing location, with travel time to the spot typically varying from 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on the day's weather.
