Brihuega Guided Tour

Walk through the garden of La Alcarria with this guided tour of Brihuega. You'll discover its numerous medieval monuments.

Description

We'll meet at the designated time at the Puerta de la Cadena to start a guided tour around Brihuega, an important town in the Alcarria. The tour covers the medieval history of this town as we walk along the remains of the old walled town. We'll visit the church of San Felipe, if no worship is in progress, and also note that Brihuega had five Romanesque parish churches.

During the tour, we will pass by the old washing place, El Coso square, and the remains of the Arab wall, before reaching the Peña Bermeja Castle and the Prado de Santa María Church, a highly visited monument.

The tour will conclude in front of the Cozagón Arch approximately two and a half hours after departure.
