Glow Worm Caves Day Trip from Brisbane

Discover the magic of Tamborine Mountain's Glow Worm caves and scenic wonders. We'll see Glow Worms up close, enjoy a guided tour of the mountain and more!

Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we will pick you up from the selected meeting point and head to the Scenic Rim and Tamborine Mountain.

Upon arrival, we will visit the noted Glow Worm caves. An expert guide will lead us through a boardwalk into the glowworms' habitat, discussing how this specific cave environment supports glow worms. You will observe their sticky silk threads and glowing bodies up close.

Next, we will drive through Tamborine Mountain National Park, allowing you to hop on and off the bus around the mountain as desired.

After the mountain adventure, you will have 3 hours of free time for lunch at local restaurants or cafes and for shopping on the Gallery Walk.

On the return to Brisbane, we will stop at lookouts to capture views of the Scenic Rim for photos. We will conclude the tour after a total of 8 hours by dropping you back at your hotel.

Important Info

The only guided part of the tour is the visit to the Glow Worm caves. For the remainder of the tour on Tamborine Mountain, you may hop on and off the bus to explore at your own pace.
