Glow Worm Caves Day Trip from Brisbane

Discover the magic of Tamborine Mountain's Glow Worm caves and scenic wonders. We'll see Glow Worms up close, enjoy a guided tour of the mountain and more!

Day Trip Details

On the day of the activity, pickup will be from the selected meeting point and we will head to the Scenic Rim and Tamborine Mountain.

Upon arrival, we'll visit the famous Glow Worm caves, where an expert guide will lead us on a boardwalk through the jungle into the habitat of the glowworms. The guide will explain how this specially designed cave provides optimal conditions for glow worms to thrive. We will have a close-up encounter with the glow worms and observe their sticky silk threads and glowing bodies.

Next, we will drive through Tamborine Mountain National Park, with opportunities to hop on and off the bus as desired around the mountain.

Following our adventure, you will have 3 hours of free time to have lunch at local restaurants or cafes and enjoy shopping on the Gallery Walk.

On the return to Brisbane, we will stop at lookouts for views of the Scenic Rim for photo opportunities. We'll conclude the tour after a total of 8 hours, dropping you back at your hotel.

Important Info

Note that the only guided part of the tour is the visit to the Glow Worm caves. For the remainder of the tour, you may hop on and off the bus at your leisure to explore.
