Moreton Island Trip

Shipwrecks, snorkels, clear kayaks and beaches are part of the Moreton Island trip.

Day Trip Details

You will be picked up from a meeting point in Brisbane and taken to the port to board a ferry for a 90-minute journey to Moreton Island. Activities included are snorkeling with fish, sea turtles, and possibly dolphins, or viewing them from a clear kayak while touring the shipwrecks. An off-roading bus tour of Tangalooma Beach is available for those who prefer not to get wet, along with tobogganing down sand dunes at speeds up to 70 kilometres per hour. A picnic lunch will be provided with a variety of bread, wraps, vegetables, cold meats, and sauces for sandwiches. The return ferry trip will lead back to the port of Brisbane, with transportation to the original meeting points after 9 hours.

You will need to pay a National Park & Ferry fee in cash to the driver on the day of the trip:
