Dampier Peninsula Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Broome at 7 am and set off north to begin our tour of the Dampier Peninsula. Prepare to see unique sights and learn about the local culture.
We'll travel along Cape Leveque Road and enjoy the landscapes of the area. The day's first stop will be at an Aboriginal community in Beagle Bay, where we'll visit the Sacred Heart Church with an altar made of pearl shells.
The tour will then take us to One Arm Point for views of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Nearby, we will find a trochus snail farm, where we will discuss the saltwater traditions of the region.
Next, we will visit the Cygnet Bay Pearl Farm, an Australian pearl farm with a long history, where we will also enjoy a lunch.
After lunch, we'll continue to Kooljaman Beach, where you will have free time to enjoy the area with its reddish cliffs.
Finally, we will return to Broome, and the tour will conclude at 7:30 pm.
