Description
At the indicated starting time, we'll meet outside the Bruges train station, opposite Carrefour Express for a guided walking tour of Bruges. This two-hour-long walking tour covers the historic centre of this medieval city, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999.
The tour includes visits to The Church of Our Lady of Bruges, which features the second highest brick tower in the world, St. John's Hospital, The Gruuthusemuseum, The Basilica of the Holy Blood, among others.
We'll stop at the Lake of Love (Minnewater) for photos and visit The Beguinage (Begijnhof), founded in the 13th century for widows and orphans. The atmosphere here is calm and peaceful.
The guided walking tour concludes at The Market Square (Markt). As a farewell, we'll provide your tickets for a 30-minute boat trip through the city's canals.
