Description
Choco Story is a museum in Brussels dedicated to chocolate. It's located in rue de l'Etuve, near the Grand-Place in the city centre.
Inside the museum, you'll learn about the history of cocoa and chocolate, which dates back over 5000 years. The exhibition starts with the Mayan and Aztec origins of chocolate and its introduction to Europe. Discover how chocolate became popular in France, Belgium, and Switzerland.
Your tour includes learning about the process of making chocolate, from fermentation to drying, roasting, and conservation.
Your ticket also provides a demonstration by a master chocolatier, where you can watch the preparation of pralines, a specialty of Brussels confectioneries.
At the end of the demonstration, enjoy tasting the chocolates prepared by the master chocolatier.
Opening times
Choco Story Brussels is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Last admission is at 5 pm.
