If you're in Brussels, do not miss Train World. At this locomotive museum, you'll learn how the oldest European train network has evolved and encounter up to five steam engines. The museum is situated in Schaerbeek station and features a combination of Industrial Revolution locomotives and modern engines. Visitors can also discover railway technology secrets and use a simulator to "see into the future" of trains, providing an experience suitable for all the family.
Opening Hours
Train World is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm, with last access at 3:30 pm.
Family Ticket
A family of 2 adults and 3 children under 18, or 1 adult and 4 children under 18, can book a family pass when making a reservation.
Temporary Exhibition
From September 19th 2024 to May 11th 2025, Train World ticket holders can visit the Draw Me a Train! temporary exhibition, showcasing how travel, particularly train journeys, have inspired artists. The exhibition features the works of 13 renowned artists, including comic authors, architects, and painters, who have depicted the railway's beauty. Additionally, visitors can express their creativity by drawing some of the museum's trains and other remarkable objects from SNCB's historical collections.
