If you're in the capital of Belgium, do not miss Train World. At this locomotive museum of Brussels, you'll learn how the oldest European train network has evolved. During the visit, you'll encounter up to five steam engines.
The museum, located in Schaerbeek station, combines locomotives of the Industrial Revolution with modern-day engines. At Train World in Brussels, you'll discover railway technology secrets and have the chance to use a simulator for a glimpse into the future of trains.
Opening Hours
Train World is open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 5 pm. Last access is at 3:30 pm.
Family Ticket
A family of 2 adults and 3 children under 18 or 1 adult and 4 children under 18 can book the family pass during reservation.
Temporary Exhibition
Between September 19, 2024 and August 31, 2025, your Train World ticket allows access to the Draw Me a Train! temporary exhibition. This exhibition explores the inspiration train journeys have provided to artists.
It features the work of 13 renowned artists, including comic authors, architects, painters, and designers, all depicting the railway universe. Visitors can also express their creativity by drawing trains and objects from SNCB's historical collections.
