Live a unique experience in the middle of the open ocean with our Punta de Teno Kayak Tour. You'll approach Los Gigantes Cliffs by sea and snorkel in Tenerife's crystal clear waters.

Description

This experience combines sport, tourism and nature. We'll meet at your chosen time at Punta de Teno to start our kayak tour. Before leaving, we provide a brief explanation on paddling techniques and basic safety measures.

We will then get into the kayaks, with two people in each kayak. If you are a beginner, you will find them easy to handle.

The water's intense blue colour will surprise you as well as its depth. Under the Punta de Teno Lighthouse, we will approach the Los Gigantes Cliffs, which tower at almost 2,000 ft (600 metres).

Instructors will discuss the local aquatic fauna and flora. We will then stop in a bay to snorkel, allowing you to discover the underwater beauty while stretching your limbs.

Afterwards, we will start our return trip to Punta de Teno, concluding the tour after 1 hour and 30 minutes of kayaking.

How to get to Punta de Teno

Access to Punta de Teno by private vehicles is restricted. You can drive to the municipality of Buenavista del Norte and then take bus line 369 from the bus station to Punta de Teno, which takes about 20 minutes.
