Quindío Coffee Tour

At 10 am, we will meet at the Parish Church of Nuestra Señora del Carmen in Buenavista. The tour will start with a route through the coffee plantations surrounding the municipality.

During the tour, we will discuss the coffee tradition of Quindío and its impact on local life. Participants will learn about coffee planting and the families who depend on it, as well as the regional coffee culture.

Midway through the tour, we will visit a typical farm that produces coffee, bananas, and other fruits. This will include an opportunity to speak with the family managing the plantation, understand their lifestyle, and learn about the coffee production processes. A typical Quindío lunch will be provided, including a cup of coffee.

The tour will conclude with our return to Buenavista, after four hours exploring the coffee plantations of Quindío.
