Colon Theatre & MALBA Museum Walking Tour
We meet at 10:30 am in the San Telmo neighborhood, the oldest area of Buenos Aires. The tour begins in this area, focusing on tango and the arts.
We will walk south along Calle Defensa, visiting antique markets, and reach Lezama Park, known for its tree-lined avenues and amphitheatre. The tour continues to Puerto Madero, where we will walk along the riverbank, perfect for photography.
We will cross the Puente de la Mujer rotating footbridge, offering views of skyscrapers and restaurants. From there, we will go to Avenida Paseo Colón to the historical Plaza de Mayo square, where we will see the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Cabildo, and Casa Rosada. We will also view the obelisk before reaching the Teatro Colón theatre.
Inside the theatre, recognized as one of the best five theatres in the world, we will explore the main foyer, gallery, and hall.
Finally, we will take a minibus to the MALBA Museum (Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires) in Palermo. Tickets are provided for you to explore the museum at your own pace.
