Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour through the vineyards of Viña Santa Rita and taste the rich Chilean wines made from Carmenere grape with this fantastic tour.

Carmenere Wine Tour

At 10 am, we will start our tour of the Viña Santa Rita winery by meeting at its Tourist House. First, we will explore the vineyards in a horse-drawn carriage. During the tour, we will learn about the history of this winery, a key wine tourism center in Buin.

From the carriage, we will see the monolith dedicated to the Carmenere grapes, marking the site where this vine was rediscovered in 1994. You will learn about the vineyards that produce distinctive Chilean wines. After the carriage ride, we will visit the winery of the 120 patriots, discussing notable figures linked to it.

This winery is part of the company’s history and has witnessed significant historical events in Chile. The origins of its vines date back many decades.

We will conclude with a tasting of three Premium Carmenere wines, accompanied by a selection of local cheeses, biscuits, and nuts. At 11:30 am, each participant will receive a wooden cheese board as a souvenir.
