Delve deep into the beautiful mountain landscapes of Transylvania and Wallachia on this full-day trip from Bucharest. Explore Bran, known as Dracula's Castle and the Peles palace-castle.

Day Trip Details

After pickup from your hotel or meeting point in Bucharest, we'll head north through the forests of Transylvania. Our first stop is in Sinaia, where you will have free time to visit Peles Castle, once a summer residence for the Romanian royal family. You can explore the halls, decorated at the end of the 19th century during King Carol I's construction.

Next, we will travel to the historic city of Bra?ov, where you will have 1.5 hours of free time to explore the city center or have lunch in local restaurants.

After lunch, we’ll visit Bran's Castle to learn about Vlad "The Impaler", who inspired the Bram Stoker novel, "Dracula". Explore the corridors to gain insight into the myth and the character's cultural significance.

We will then begin our return journey to Bucharest while enjoying scenic views from the vehicle.

Pickup Time & Schedule

The tour includes pickup from main hotels and hostels in Bucharest at the indicated time, which may vary. If your hotel is not in the pickup area, select the nearest location, and we will provide a meeting point.

Peles Castle is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays year-round. On these days, you will see the castle from the outside, and visit an exhibition on medieval torture instruments in Bran. The itinerary is subject to change based on traffic and seasonal events. Expect long lines during peak season.
