Transylvania 2-Day Tour

Day 1

After being picked up from your hotel in Bucharest in the morning, you will begin your journey north into Transylvania. The first stop will be in Sinaia, home to Peles Castle, built between 1873 and 1914, which now serves as a museum showcasing important historical monuments.

Next, explore Bran Castle, linked to Count Dracula, on a guided tour revealing secrets that inspired Bram Stoker's novel. After a break for lunch, you will continue to Brasov to explore its historic center, with the Black Church as a highlight, a prime example of Gothic architecture in Romania. Overnight accommodation will be in Brasov.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will travel to Sighisoara, known as the city of Dracula, and learn about its historical significance. Then, visit the Rupea Citadel, renowned for defending its inhabitants against numerous attacks, featuring panoramic views from its hill.

Your next stop depends on the season: from November to May, visit Prejmer's World Heritage Site church; from June to October, travel the Transf?g?r??an, an acclaimed winding road. The tour concludes with a return to Bucharest, marking the end of the two-day experience.

You will stay at Bella Musica Hotel, a 3-star establishment. If unavailable, an alternative hotel of equal quality will be provided.

Please Note

The return journey via Transfagarasan Highway is available between June 30 and October 30, weather permitting. From December 1 to May 31, the tour includes a stop at Prejmer without traveling the Transf?g?r??an highway.
