Tour Details

We will meet at Charles de Gaulle Square to commence our guided tour, focusing on notable sites in Bucharest.

The first stop is the Village Museum (Satului Museum), an open-air ethnographic collection of Romania's heritage. It covers over 100,000 square meters and features more than 300 rustic buildings representing traditional Romanian village life, including wooden houses, farms, mills, and churches.

As we explore this outdoor space, we will discuss the history of rural life in Romania and gain insights into how people lived centuries ago, along with Romania's cultural diversity showcased through architecture and traditional clothing.

Next, we will visit Herastrau Park, a key outdoor space in Bucharest. We will also view a prominent monument that contributes to the city's nickname, the Little Paris.

After 3.5 hours away from downtown Bucharest, the tour will conclude at the starting point.
