Gyeongju Trip

Discover Gyeongju through this day trip to significant locations of the ancient capital of South Korea. Highlights include the renowned Bulguksa temple and Anapji pond.

Trip Details

The day trip begins with a departure from a central meeting point of your choice in Busan. After approximately an hour and a half of travel, we will visit Bulguksa Temple, noted for its historical importance. We will explore the surrounding village, taking in the local nature, ancient architecture, and traditions. A stop will be made along the route to sample South Korea's cuisine.

Post-lunch, we will visit the ancient town of Gyeongju Gyochon, where you can discover the region's history and enjoy its architecture and local customs. The trip concludes with a short 20-minute stop at Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond, an artificial lake teeming with colorful fish, located next to Gyeongju National Park.

We will also visit the Woljeonggyo Bridge, known for its sturdy stone arches, which is integral to Gyeongju's transportation. The guided tour wraps up, followed by our return to Busan after a 12-hour excursion.
