Kyzyl Kum Desert 2-Day Tour

Day 1: Bukhara - Nurata - Kyzyl Kum

Pickup will be from your hotel in Bukhara at the indicated time for the start of this 2-day tour of the Kyzyl Kum desert. After a 4-hour drive, we'll arrive at Nurata, an ancient city where we'll tour the Chashma complex, Juma Mosque, Panjvaqta Mosque and Nurata Arab Baths.

Next, we'll stop at a yurt camp in the Kyzyl Kum desert to bathe in Lake Aidar. Expect a traditional dinner and a desert folklore show before retiring to the yurts for the night.

Day 2: Kyzyl Kum - Samarkand - Bukhara

Following a night in the desert, we'll have breakfast while enjoying the sunrise. After resting, we’ll drive to Samarkand for lunch (on your own). You can specify when booking whether to end the tour in Samarkand or Bukhara. If returning to Bukhara, arrival at your hotel is expected by 5 pm.
