Cabezabellosa Astronomy Tour

In this activity, participants will explore the night sky in the Vetón forest of Cabezabellosa, learning to interpret constellations from both mythological and scientific perspectives.

Cabezabellosa Astronomy Tour

Shortly after sunset, attendees will meet at the indicated point, located a few meters from the natural observatory of the Vetón forest of Cabezabellosa. This site is situated at an altitude of 900 meters (2952 feet), offering a prime location for stargazing.

With minimal light pollution, the clear skies will allow for excellent views of the stars. Participants will identify key stars and learn the names and meanings of the constellations. The tour will also include stories of ancient myths related to cosmology, providing a magical experience.

From a scientific viewpoint, attendees will discover the physical processes behind star formation and other celestial objects formed over millions of years.

The stargazing activity will last two hours, concluding with a return to the starting point.
