Bandera Hill Hike
We'll pick you up at 9 am from your hotel in Puerto Williams and drive along a trail that goes deep into Navarino Island. At the starting point, we'll set off on a 2-mile (3.5-kilometre) hike through a scenic area of Navarino Island, part of the Chilean archipelago of Tierra del Fuego. This hike includes crossing the world's southernmost forests.
We will ascend to the top of Bandera Hill, located at an altitude of 2,132 feet (650 metres). Once at the summit, we will enjoy views of Puerto Williams and, on clear days, see Ushuaia and other parts of the Argentinean side of Tierra del Fuego across the Beagle Channel.
The summit also provides views of the rugged Dientes de Navarino mountain peaks. We will have a light snack at the top before starting our descent. After the hike, we will return to your hotel in Puerto Williams, dropping you off at 1 pm.
