Bandera Hill Hike
We'll pick you up at 9 am from your hotel in Puerto Williams and drive along a trail into Navarino Island.
The hike is 2 miles (3.5 kilometers) through a scenic area of Navarino Island, part of the Chilean archipelago of Tierra del Fuego. We'll traverse the world's southernmost forests.
We'll ascend to Bandera Hill, at an altitude of 2,132 feet (650 meters). From the summit, we'll enjoy views of Puerto Williams and, on a clear day, see Ushuaia and portions of the Argentinean Tierra del Fuego across the Beagle Channel.
The summit also offers views of the Dientes de Navarino mountains. We will have a light snack at the top before we begin our descent back to the starting point. We will return to your hotel in Puerto Williams and drop you off by 1 pm.
