Bandera Hill Hike
We'll pick you up at 9 am from your hotel in Puerto Williams and drive along a trail that leads into Navarino Island.
When we reach the starting point, we'll embark on a 2-mile (3.5-kilometre) hike through a scenic area of Navarino Island, part of the Chilean side of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. The hike will take us through the world's southernmost forests.
During this activity, we'll ascend to Bandera Hill, which is at an altitude of 2,132 feet (650 metres). At the summit, we'll enjoy views of Puerto Williams and, on clear days, Ushuaia and other areas of the Argentinean side of Tierra del Fuego across the Beagle Channel.
From Bandera Hill, we'll also see the rugged Dientes de Navarino peaks and take a light snack break at the top, admiring the landscapes.
After the break, we'll begin our descent back to the trailhead. We will return to your hotel in Puerto Williams and drop you off at 1 pm.
