On our Dientes de Navarino Hike, you'll experience the scenery of Tierra del Fuego and climb the Ukika-Róbalo ridge for stunning views.
Dientes de Navarino Hike
At 9 am, pickup will be from your hotel in Puerto Williams to drive to the Dientes de Navarino hiking circuit starting point.
After a brief introduction, the hike begins through the world's southernmost forests, where you'll learn about the various trees, bushes, and grasses of the remote Andean-Patagonian forest.
As we explore the area's flora and seek out endemic birds, we'll hike up a hill in Navarino Island's interior. At the summit, you'll enjoy views of Puerto Williams and the Beagle Channel.
Participants can take a photo next to the large Chilean flag atop the hill before continuing along the Dientes de Navarino route southward to the Ukika-Róbalo ridge, which stands at an altitude of 2,985 feet (910 metres).
After admiring the views from the ridge, we’ll descend to a quiet area for a picnic lunch featuring local products and a beer. Finally, we'll return to the trailhead and drive back to Puerto Williams, arriving at your hotel by 4 pm.
