Your tour begins with a pick-up from your hotel in Puerto Williams at 3:30 pm. We will traverse a total distance of 15.5 miles (25 kilometers), with various stops to appreciate the views. Navarino Island, located on the southern shore of the Beagle Channel, is part of the Chilean section of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. The Beagle Channel connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and acts as a natural border with Argentina.

The proximity of Chile and Argentina led to the Beagle conflict, and our tour will highlight historical traces of this dispute along with archaeological remnants of the Yaghan People, one of the southernmost indigenous groups globally.

Participants will learn about the history and nature of Navarino Island and observe various coastal birds that inhabit the Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve (RBCH).

We will conclude our tour at a viewpoint, where a selection of local products will be served alongside a tasty beer. After this experience, we will return you to your hotel in Puerto Williams by 7:30 pm.
