The Chilean part of Tierra del Fuego is truly breathtaking. Discover its beauty on our tour around Navarino Island and the world's southernmost natural scenery. Let's go!
Navarino Island Tour
We will pick you up from your hotel in Puerto Williams at 3:30 pm to begin our tour of Navarino Island.
The tour covers a total distance of 15.5 miles (25 kilometers) and includes several stops for scenic views. This Patagonian island is part of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago and lies on the southern shore of the Beagle Channel, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and forming a natural border with Argentina.
The proximity of these two countries contributed to the Beagle conflict. You will observe the remnants of this dispute and archaeological sites of the Yaghan People, one of the southernmost indigenous communities globally.
In addition to the history and nature of Navarino Island, we will identify coastal bird species in the Cape Horn Biosphere Reserve (RBCH).
Our final stop will be at a viewpoint, where we will enjoy a selection of local products accompanied by a tasty beer. Afterward, we will return you to your hotel in Puerto Williams by 7:30 pm.
