Puerto Williams & Navarino Island Bike Tour
The Puerto Williams & Navarino Island Bike Tour begins at 9 am at the Centro Comercial 140B. Participants will cycle through Puerto Williams, located on the north coast of Navarino Island in the Chilean portion of the Tierra del Fuego archipelago, offering views of the Beagle Channel's southern shores.
During the cycling tour, a segment of the Beagle Channel will be visible, with a stop at Punta Gusanos to observe migratory birds. The tour concludes either at the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or the Micalvi Yacht Club, depending on weather conditions. Following this, the group will explore trails through Navarino Island's interior, noting the legacy of the Beagle conflict and remnants of the Fuegian Yaganes Indigenous community.
The trail extends 4 miles (7 kilometers) from Puerto Williams to the Los Bronces Bridge, where participants will engage in a short walk to a waterfall of the same name. A local snack and craft beer will be provided to restore energy before returning to the bridge and cycling back to the starting point.
The tour concludes at 1 pm in Puerto Williams.
