Puerto Williams & Navarino Island Bike Tour
Meet at 9 am at the Centro Comercial 140B. After gathering, we will cycle around Puerto Williams, exploring iconic spots in this Patagonian city on Navarino Island, part of the Chilean Tierra del Fuego archipelago, with views of the Beagle Channel's southern shores.
During the tour, we will observe a stretch of the Beagle Channel and stop at Punta Gusanos to view migratory birds. The bike tour will conclude at either the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or the Micalvi Yacht Club, depending on the weather. We will then head west along beautiful trails in Navarino Island's interior, witnessing the legacy of the Beagle conflict and traces of the Fuegian Yaganes Indigenous community.
This segment of the tour covers 4 miles (7 kilometers) from Puerto Williams to Los Bronces Bridge, where we will embark on a short walk to the nearby waterfall. A local snack and craft beer will be enjoyed before returning to the bridge and cycling back to the starting point.
The tour concludes at 1 pm in Puerto Williams.
