Join us on our adventure around Navarino Island and explore the Los Bronces Waterfall while touring Puerto Williams.
Tour Details
We will meet at 3:30 pm at O'Higgins, 187 to begin our walking tour of Puerto Williams.
During the tour, we will visit key locations in Puerto Williams, situated on Navarino Island in the Tierra del Fuego archipelago. We will stop at various points to appreciate the Beagle Channel, which serves as a natural border with Argentina, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
The tour concludes at either the Martín Gusinde Anthropological Museum or the Micalvi Yacht Club. We will then travel inland to explore additional areas of the island.
Participants will learn about the Beagle conflict between Chile and Argentina regarding these territories and about the Yaghan community, one of the southernmost Indigenous groups.
Our next stop will be Los Bronces Bridge, from where we will walk to the waterfall bearing the same name. After enjoying the scenery, we will return to the bridge and head back to Puerto Williams, where the tour ends at 7:30 pm with an aperitif featuring local products and a craft beer.
