Cabo Frio Catamaran Ride

Participants will meet at 11 am at the Canal Boulevard terminal to board the catamaran and embark on the journey. The first destination is the Itajuru Channel, a 6-kilometer passage connecting Araruama Lagoon with the Atlantic Ocean. The route includes the Moringa area, known for its luxury homes.

The journey proceeds to Ilha do Japonês, renowned for its clear waters. After this, the group will visit the Forte de São Mateus, a 1616 fortification designed for city defense. A stop will be made at Praia do Forte for swimming and optional snorkeling.

Next, the tour continues to the Farol da Lajinha, a 7-meter lighthouse from 1913, whose lights can reach up to 9 miles. The catamaran will also pass through Praia Brava, noted for its strong waves. A final stop will be at Ilha dos Papagaios, where participants can swim and observe migrating parrots and parakeets. A local legend suggests that couples who kiss here will stay together.

The tour concludes with a return to the starting point between 1:30 and 2 pm.
