Cabo Frio Catamaran Ride

We'll meet at 11 am at the Canal Boulevard terminal to board a catamaran for this journey through Cabo Frio.

On board, we will navigate the Itajuru Channel, a 6-kilometer (nearly 4-mile) passage connecting the Araruama Lagoon and the Atlantic Ocean. We will pass through the luxurious Moringa area.

Next, we will visit Ilha do Japonês, an island with crystal clear waters. We will then continue to the Forte de São Mateus, a fort established in 1616.

A stop will be made at Praia do Forte for swimming or optional snorkeling in the clear waters.

We will head to the Farol da Lajinha, a 7-meter (23-foot) lighthouse from 1913, and continue through Praia Brava, known for its strong waves.

Finally, we will stop at Ilha dos Papagaios, where swimming and observing parrots and parakeets are possible. We will return to the starting point between 1:30 and 2 pm.
