Cabo Frio Schooner Ride

We'll meet at 9:30 am at the port of Cabo Frio and begin the catamaran trip along the coast. The journey starts by sailing through the Itajuru Channel, which connects the Araruama Lagoon with the Atlantic Ocean. You'll see the Moringa Condominium, a luxurious neighborhood in Cabo Frio.

Next, we'll skirt the coast of the islet of Japonés and head towards the island of Papagayos, where you'll have 30 minutes of free time for swimming. Following this, we will sail past Praia Brava and the fort of San Mateo.

The next stop is the Fort's beach, allowing another 30 minutes for swimming. Afterward, we'll continue our route at the inlet of Navío Carolina, associated with the ship that sank here in 1913.

After learning about the shipwreck, we'll pass by the promontory with the Cabo Frio lighthouse and return to the starting pier, with arrival scheduled for two and a half hours after departure.
