Schooner Adventure in Cabo Frio

Our journey begins at 9:30 am at the port of Cabo Frio, where we will embark on an exciting catamaran ride along the mesmerizing coast of this beautiful locale.

The adventure kicks off by gliding through the Itajuru Channel, a waterway linking the Araruama Lagoon to the vast Atlantic. As we navigate these tranquil waters, you'll spot the luxurious Moringa Condominium—one of the most prestigious neighborhoods in Cabo Frio.

As we proceed, we’ll sail past the islet of Japonés towards the island of Papagayos. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy 30 minutes of leisure time for a refreshing swim in the open sea. Afterward, we will continue our voyage, passing by Praia Brava and the historic fort of San Mateo.

Our next anchor point will be at the Fort's Beach, where you'll have another 30 minutes to splash around and enjoy the inviting waters. We’ll then set our course towards the inlet known as Navío Carolina, named for the shipwreck from 1913.

Upon learning the fascinating history behind this shipwreck, we will navigate around the scenic promontory featuring the Cabo Frio lighthouse before making our way back to the departure pier.

We anticipate returning to the port approximately two and a half hours after our departure.
