Admire the historic castles, fortresses, and defensive city walls of southern Spain from a unique perspective on this catamaran tour of the Bay of Cadiz.
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two options. Both depart from the Bay of Cádiz and include a catamaran cruise with recorded commentary in English. Below are the details for each option:
1 Hour & 15-Minute Tour
We'll meet at Cádiz Port for our cruise of the bay. After check-in, we'll set sail, heading either north or south depending on sea conditions. The northern route allows us to see the walls of San Carlos, the bastions of Candelaria and San Felipe, and the San Sebastian Castle, highlighting the city's historical significance. The Church of El Carmen, a Baroque-style building, is also visible from the boat.
The southern route takes us to defensive monuments like the Matagorda Fort and the Bastion of San Antonio before we reach the shipbuilding factory. We will pass under the Constitution of 1812 Bridge, noted for its engineering significance. The trip ends back at the departure pier after 1 hour and 15 minutes of sailing, totaling 1 hour and 45 minutes.
2.5-Hour Tour
This option includes a stop for a refreshing dip in the waters of the Bay of Cádiz. You'll have the opportunity to slide down the boat's slide or use the giant mats. This tour ends at the starting pier 2.5 hours later.
