Admire the historic castles, fortresses, and defensive city walls of southern Spain from a unique perspective on this catamaran tour of the Bay of Cadiz.
Tour Options
During the booking process, you can choose between two options. Both depart from the Bay of Cádiz and include a catamaran cruise with recorded commentary in English. Please read below the details for each option:
1 Hour & 15-Minute Tour
We'll meet at Cádiz Port, where the boat will be waiting to take us on our cruise of the bay. After completing the check-in process, we'll set sail and, depending on the sea conditions and winds, we'll sail north or south.
If we take the route towards the north of the Bay of Cádiz, we'll admire the walls of San Carlos, the bastions of Candelaria and San Felipe, the San Sebastian Castle, and other historic monuments built between the 16th and 18th centuries. We'll also spot the Church of El Carmen.
If we sail towards the south, we'll see the Matagorda Fort and the Bastion of San Antonio, before passing under the Constitution of 1812 Bridge, an important modern engineering work in Europe. The boat trip concludes at the departure pier after 1 hour and 15 minutes of sailing, totaling 1 hour and 45 minutes.
2.5-Hour Tour
This option includes a scenic cruise of the Bay of Cádiz, plus a stop for swimming, sliding down the boat's slide, and enjoying giant mats. This experience ends at the starting pier 2.5 hours later.
