Marvel at the cultural heritage of Jerez de la Frontera on this day trip from Cádiz and enjoy an Andalusian equestrian dance show.

Jerez de la Frontera Day Trip

We'll set off from Cadiz at the indicated time and head north to Jerez de la Frontera, arriving approximately half an hour later. We will tour the modern area of the city and proceed to the historic centre to visit some of its most iconic monuments, admiring the city's characteristic orange trees and fountains.

We will visit the Plaza del Arenal and see the architecture of the Alcazar of Jerez, a fortress built by the Almohad rulers. Next, we will go to the Plaza Encarnación to observe the blends of Gothic, Baroque, and Neoclassical styles in the Cathedral.

At midday, we will visit the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art to watch "How the Andalusian Horses Dance," a show combining equestrian ballet with Spanish music and typical 18th-century costumes.

After the equestrian show, you will have free time in the centre of Jerez for lunch. The tour concludes after approximately 7 to 7.5 hours, returning to the starting point.
