Walk the Historic Streets of Cádiz
On the day of the activity, meet at the agreed time in the Plaza de España, home to the Monument to the Constitution of 1812. This will be the starting point for the guided tour of Cadiz.
This square is ideal for starting the day. From there, the tour continues to the Plaza de Mina, surrounded by trees and historic buildings, and home to the Museo de Cádiz, which features a collection of art and archaeology.
Next, you'll visit Plaza de San Antonio, one of Cadiz's largest squares, where you will see the church of San Antonio and experience a lively cultural atmosphere. The tour then leads to Parque Genovés, a botanical garden perfect for relaxation amidst various plant species.
Just minutes away is La Caleta beach, Cadiz's only urban beach, ideal for strolling and enjoying sea views. Following this, you'll visit Cadiz's central market to sample fresh local produce and tapas, then walk to the Cadiz Cathedral.
This cathedral, recognized for its golden dome, offers tours of its interior and tower, providing a panoramic view of the city. Adjacent to the cathedral is El Pópulo, the oldest district of the city, characterized by its narrow streets.
The tour concludes after 2 hours at the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the city's administrative and commercial center, which houses Cadiz City Hall.
