Walk the Historic Streets of Cádiz
On the day of the activity, meet at the agreed time in the Plaza de España, home to the Monument to the Constitution of 1812, a historic symbol of the city. The guided tour of Cádiz will commence here.
This square is ideal for starting the day. We will proceed to the Plaza de Mina, a square surrounded by trees and historic buildings, which includes the Museo de Cádiz, housing collections of art and archaeology.
Next, we'll head to Plaza de San Antonio, one of the largest and most elegant squares, featuring the church of San Antonio. Then, we will continue to Parque Genovés, a botanical garden offering a variety of plants and trees.
Just minutes from the park, you will reach La Caleta beach, the only urban beach in Cádiz, perfect for strolling and enjoying sea views. Following this, we will visit Cadiz's central market for a chance to sample fresh local produce and tapas before moving on to the Cadiz Cathedral.
The cathedral offers tours of its interior and tower for panoramic city views. Next to it is El Pópulo, the city's oldest district, known for its narrow streets.
Finally, the tour concludes 2 hours later at the Plaza de San Juan de Dios, the administrative and commercial hub of the city, home to Cadiz City Hall.
