The Day Pass includes a D-Day tour and admission to the Caen Mémorial Museum. Below are the details:
The D-Day tour
This tour occurs on the selected day of your reservation. Participants will meet at the time indicated at the entrance to the Caen Mémorial Museum, then travel by minibus to key locations from the Normandy Landings, which took place on the 6th of June 1944.
The tour starts at Pointe du Hoc. Following this, the group will visit Omaha Beach to view remaining artifacts. The final stop is Colleville-sur-Mer, where the Normandy American Cemetery is located. The tour duration is approximately 5 hours.
Ticket to Caen Mémorial
Your Day Pass also provides admission to the Caen Mémorial, which you can explore at your own pace without a guide.
The Caen Mémorial is dedicated to the Second World War, the Normandy Landings, and the Cold War. The ticket grants access to both temporary and permanent exhibitions, which include various weaponry, uniforms, vehicles, maps, and propaganda posters.
You can visit the museum on the same day as the D-Day tour, before the tour, or the following day.
Opening hours are as follows:
1st April - 30th September 2024: Monday-Sunday, 9 am - 7 pm1-31st October 2024: Monday-Sunday, 9 am - 6 pm1st November - 31st December 2024: Open every day except Monday, with exceptions on 11th November, 23rd December, and 30th December, from 9 am - 6 pm.
