Barumini and Giara di Gesturi Trip
At 9am, we'll meet in Yenne Piazza in Cagliari to explore Sardinia.
After just over 1 hour, we'll reach Giara di Gesturi, a plateau in the center of the island. We will observe the wild horses, a symbol of Sardinia, in a Mediterranean landscape.
You will have free time for lunch on your own, after which we will proceed to Barumini, Sardinia's most important archaeological site, built in 1400 BC. Its labyrinthine appearance is notable and rich in history.
Next, we will visit the Casa Zapata Museum, a late 16th-century building that features an impressive collection of archaeological remains from the Nuragic era.
We will return to Cagliari and be back at the starting point by 4 pm.
