Visit the inland wilderness of Sardinia with this trip from Cagliari. You'll encounter the wild horses of Giara di Gesturi and learn about the ancient Nuragic civilization at Barumini.

Barumini and Giara di Gesturi Trip

At 9am, we will meet in Yenne Piazza in Cagliari. The trip will last for the day, exploring Sardinia.

After approximately 1 hour, we will reach Giara di Gesturi, a plateau in the center of the island. You will have the opportunity to view the wild horses, which are a symbol of the region.

After having some free time for lunch, we will continue to Barumini, recognized as Sardinia's most significant archaeological site. The village, built in 1400 BC, reflects the intricate designs of the Nuragic civilization.

Our next destination is the Casa Zapata Museum, a late 16th-century building that houses a notable collection of archaeological remains from the Nuragic era.

We will return to Cagliari and aim to arrive back at the starting point by 4 pm.
