At your chosen time, we'll meet up in Piazza Yenne to begin our guided tour of the historic city center, known as the Castello district.

Founded in the 13th century, this quarter is surrounded by medieval city walls and features the Bastion of Santa Caterina and the Tower of the Elephant. Look carefully to spot the animal to which the monument owes its name.

We'll stroll through the cobbled streets of Cagliari to explore the city's past. We will arrive at Piazza Carlo Alberto, home to the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the most important temple in the capital. It was built in the 13th century in Romanesque style, although its main facade is from the early 20th century.

After this 2-hour tour, we'll go to one of the city center's viewpoints to enjoy panoramas of the surrounding area and the coast. Castello is the highest district in Cagliari, offering breathtaking views.
