Cagliari Sella del Diavolo Hike
We'll meet in Piazza Yenne square in Cagliari at the selected time and set off on a bus ride to the Sella del Diavolo. Upon arrival at the foot of this rocky headland, we will begin the hike.
The name Sella del Diavolo, meaning the Devil's Saddle, comes from a legend where angels fought the devil led by archangel Michael, resulting in the devil fleeing and leaving his saddle behind.
The hike lasts two hours across this promontory, revealing ruins of historical constructions, including a temple possibly dedicated to Astarte, the Sant'Elia Tower, and a World War II fort.
At the top, you'll enjoy a view of the Golfo degli Angeli before returning to the starting point in Cagliari.
