Cagliari Sella del Diavolo Hike
We'll meet in Piazza Yenne square in Cagliari at the selected time and set off on a bus ride to the Sella del Diavolo. When we reach the foot of this rocky headland, we'll begin the hike up.
The Sella del Diavolo, meaning the Devil's Saddle, is associated with a legend of a battle between angels and the devil, led by archangel Michael.
We'll embark on a two-hour hike across this promontory and discover its features, including ruins of historical constructions such as a temple believed to have belonged to Astarte, the Sant'Elia Tower, and a fort from World War II.
Upon reaching the top, a view of the Golfo degli Angeli will make the ascent worthwhile. After enjoying the scenery, we'll return to the starting point in Cagliari.
