Nora Archeological Site Trip
Meeting takes place at Piazza Yenne in Cagliari at the scheduled time, after which we will proceed to the city of Pula, home to one of the principal archaeological sites on the island: the ancient city of Nora.
The journey lasts approximately 45 minutes, after which we will enter the site to explore the Phoenician and Roman heritage. You will learn about its significance as a commercial center during the Phoenician period and visit noteworthy sites including the ancient Roman baths, the amphitheater, and the mosaic facades of the buildings.
Upon completing our exploration of Nora, we will return to Cagliari with a stop to observe the biodiversity of the Santa Gilla lagoon. Those fortunate may spot flamingos.
After arriving in the Sardinian capital, we will take a brief panoramic bus tour, stopping at the Basilica of Our Lady of Bonaria and the Mount Urpinu viewpoint for scenic photography.
Our four-hour archaeological trip concludes thereafter.
