Queensland Rainforest & Kuranda Trip from Cairns

The trip begins from your hotel in Cairns at a designated time. First, head to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway for panoramic views over the forest. The Skyrail concludes at Smithfield Terminal station, where you can have lunch at your own expense. In the afternoon, travel to Freshwater Station to board the Kuranda Scenic Rail, a historic train journey through the Queensland rainforest, recognized as one of Australia’s iconic train routes.

Upon reaching Kuranda, enjoy three hours of free time to explore the town and indulge in various local markets and restaurants. The return journey to your Cairns hotel will take place approximately 7.5 hours after initial pickup.

Crocodile Sanctuary

If you select this option, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairns at the indicated time and taken to Freshwater Station for the Kuranda Scenic Rail. You will have an hour of free time in Kuranda.

Following your time in Kuranda, travel to the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway to reach Smithfield Terminal Station. After this, you will visit Hartley's Crocodile Adventures to see crocodiles up close. The trip concludes with a return to your hotel in Cairns, arriving about 9 hours after pickup.
