Green Island Day Trip

Visit paradise on earth with this day trip to Green Island from Cairns. You'll be able to go snorkeling to explore part of the Great Barrier Reef.

Options

When booking, you can choose between two options, both starting at Reef Fleet Terminal and including an English-speaking guide and snorkel equipment rental. Below are the details of each option:

4-Hour Tour

We will board a speedboat at the port of Cairns for a journey to Green Island, about an hour away. Once there, you will have free time to walk through the rainforest and explore the white sandy beaches of this part of the Great Barrier Reef National Park. You may choose between two activities: snorkeling in the clear waters or a half-hour semi-submarine ride to discover the coral reef and marine biodiversity without getting wet. Then, we will return by speedboat to Cairns to conclude the tour.

7.5-Hour Tour

This option offers a more comprehensive experience at Green Island. Departing from the Cairns pier on a catamaran, you will have five hours of free time to explore. You can opt for a two-hour snorkeling session or a half-hour semi-submarine boat ride. Additionally, a buffet lunch is included aboard the catamaran. After a fulfilling seven and a half hours, we will return to Cairns.
