There's no better place in the world to start scuba diving than the Australian Great Barrier Reef. On this diving initiation, you'll discover this underwater paradise and experience a unique atmosphere.

Introduction to Diving in the Great Barrier Reef

Between 7.15 and 7.45 am, we'll meet at Spence Street in Cairns, where we'll board a boat to a platform on the Great Barrier Reef. The underwater adventure begins!

Once we arrive, you'll have two and a half hours of free time to snorkel at your leisure and explore the Great Barrier Reef. After snorkeling, we'll enjoy lunch on board the ship.

At 1 pm, we'll sail to the second location for the day where we'll make our dive. A guide will explain basic techniques to enhance your diving experience.

During the dive, you can expect to see clownfish, turtles, and reef sharks, as well as the famous corals of the area. It will be a memorable experience.

Lastly, we'll return to the boat and sail back to the starting point while toasting with a glass of wine. The excursion concludes between 4.15 and 4.30 pm.
