Cajamarca Private Tours

When booking, you can choose between two private tours of Cajamarca. Both tours include hotel pickup and drop-off and an English-speaking guide.

Tour of Cajamarca (3.5 hours)

We'll start our guided tour of Cajamarca at the Plaza de Armas, where the Cathedral of Santa Catalina and the Church of San Francisco stand. We'll admire their facades carved in volcanic rock while discovering interesting stories about the city.

From here, we'll walk through the main streets of Cajamarca to explore iconic places such as the church of Belén and the Cuarto del Rescate. We will learn about who Fernando Pizarro kept prisoner here.

To complete the route, we'll visit the viewpoint on the hill of Santa Apolonia, where the famous Silla del Inca (Inca's chair) is located.

Cajamarca Valley Tour (5 hours)

In this private tour, we'll explore the valley of Cajamarca. We'll start at Qhapac Ñan, making a stop at the Inca's walk. From here, we'll approach the caves of Callacpuma and the lagoon of Salluscocha and Los Sapitos.

Additionally, we'll visit Coyor hill, where the pre-Inca citadel of the Caxamarca culture is located. We will also visit a workshop where handmade hats and guitars are crafted.
